The ISGO waste management information system is an integral part of the Environmental Protection Information System and is managed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition.

ISGO contains data and applications prescribed by Article 129 of the Waste Management Act (Official Gazette 84/2021; 142/2023 - Decision of the USRH).

 

On the ISGO Portal, you can look for information on:

  • participants in the waste management system (who have obtained permits for waste management, are registered in the registers for waste management activities or are participants in the extended producer responsibility scheme for special categories of waste)
  • facilities for waste management
  • produced, collected and processed amounts of waste, by types of waste
  • waste prevention activities and product reuse 
  • by-products and end-of-waste materials
  • transboundary movement of waste
  • reports on the implemented obligations of local self-government units and counties 
  • special categories of waste and products from which that waste is generated
  • facilities and plans for waste management from extractive industry
  • key topics such as food waste, plastic waste etc.
  • locations of waste discarded in environment
  • implemented waste clean-up actions
  • economic instruments and fees in the field of waste management
  • indicators in the field of waste management
  • regulations, guidelines, plans and projects in the field of waste management, and other data of importance in the field of waste and waste management
